Description

Large massive sample of orange coarse granular Sylvite entwined with Quartz and Biotite. Sylvite (KCl) can be colourless, white, pale grey, pale blue, yellowish or red. Lustre is vitreous and streak is white. Hardness is 2. Sylvite can occur as cubes, octahedrons, columnar, coarse granular or massive.
