Several fragments of compressed/fossilized lycopsid stem showing longitudinally arranged, subparallel rows of surface markings consistent with the characteristic leaf-scar pattern of Sigillaria. Specimens are dark grey-brown and preserve variable degrees of external stem ornamentation. Broad, vertical bark (~1.2 cm x 5.5 cm) with thin, longitudinal ribbing. Rounded rootlet scars (~0.8 cm x 1.1 cm) are visible on some of the specimens. Sample of steel-grey Specular Hematite with a metallic lustre. Hematite (Fe2O3) can be steel-grey, red, reddish brown or black in colour. Lustre is metallic and streak is dark red, cherry-red or brownish red. Hardness is 5 to 6.
