Description
Two samples of radiating/arborescent Silver crystals (3.3 cm x 1.6 cm & 3.0 cm x 2.1 cm) embedded on the surface of the sediment.
Silver (Ag) can tarnish yellow, brown or black and lustre is metallic. Streak is silver-white to light lead-grey and shining. Hardness is 2 1/2 to 3. Silver can occur as cubes (rare), octahedrons (rare) or dodecahedrons (rare). Silver can also be grains, scales, plates, wire, reticulated or arborescent.
