Kingdom: Plantae Phylum: Pteridophyta Class: Pteropsida Subclass: Filicinae Genus: Pecopteris (Brongniart, 1822) Kingdom: Plantae Phylum: Tracheophyta Family: Medullosaceae Genus: Neuropteris (Brongniart, 1828) Six samples that are mostly composed of Neuropteris. The largest specimen is a partial blade (6.5 cm x 4.1 cm) composed of several thin pinnae (~2.3 cm x 0.6 cm) with oval shaped pinnules (0.4 cm x 0.3 cm). One of the six samples has two pinnules (0.3 cm x 0.7 cm & 0.4 cm x 0.8 cm) that appear to belong to Pecopteris.
