Description

Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Mollusca Class: Gastropoda Subclass: Caenogastropoda Family: Meekospiridae Genus: Meekospira (Ulrich and Scofield, 1897) Species: Meekospira peracuta (Meek and Worthen, 1860) Turriform dextral specimen with five whorls. Apex of spire is missing. Whorls are encrusted with sediment. Small circular aperture is infilled with sediment.
