Description

Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Brachiopoda Class: Rhynchonellata Order: Spiriferida Family: Spiriferidae Genus: Spirifer (Sowerby, 1818) Species: Spirifer plena? Cannot find classification online. Two large specimens of the pedicle valve. Valves are quite weathered and no ribs are visible. Large prominent sulcus (~1.1 cm). Anterior margin is missing. Posterior margin is triangular/rounded in appearance.
