Description

Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Brachiopoda Class: Rhynchonellata Order: Athyridida Family: Athyrididae Genus: Composita (Brown, 1849) Species: Composita subtilita (Hall, 1852) Eleven specimens with both the brachial and pedicle valves preserved. Faint concentric grows lines. Circular anterior margin and triangular posterior margin. Pedicle foramen is visible in some specimens.
