Description

Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Brachiopoda Class: Strophomenata Order: Productida Family: Linoproductidae Genus: Linoproductus (Chao, 1927) Four specimens labelled a to d, of varying sizes. Large, convex pedicle valve and flat to concave brachial valve. Thin, prominent costae (~0.1 cm) with faint rugae on the brachial valve. Faint sulcus. Rounded beak that curved towards the brachial valve. Rounded/square anterior margin and rounded posterior margin. The second smallest specimen has faint spines on the pedicle valve.
