Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Brachiopoda Class: Rhynchonellata Order: Rhynchonellida Family: Trigonirhynchiidae Genus: Cupularostrum (Sartenaer, 1961) Species: Cupularostrum congregata (Conrad, 1841) Three specimens with both the brachial and pedicle valves preserved. Medium, defined ribs (~0.1 cm) that are prominent near the anterior margin. Faintly concave sulcus (~0.5 cm). Brachial valve is slightly convex. Rounded anterior margin and triangular/posterior margin. Plication near the commissure. The fossil commonly known as Camarotoechia congregata is a species of extinct brachiopod that has since been reclassified as Cupularostrum congregata. It is a robust, medium-sized, ribbed marine shell fossil from the Middle to Upper Devonian period.
