Description

Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Brachiopoda Class: Rhynchonellata Order: Orthida Family: Schizophoriidae Genus: Schizophoria (King, 1850) Large specimen with both the brachial and pedicle valves preserved. Medium ribs and faint growth lines. Brachial valve is concave and pedicle valve is convex. Rounded anterior margin and rounded/triangular posterior margin. Specimen is encrusted with sediment.
