Description
Sample of red-orange/yellow incrusting Vanadinite. Adamantine lustre.
Vanadinite (Pb5(VO4)3Cl) is ruby-red, orange, brown, yellow or multicoloured mineral. Lustre is greasy, adamantine or resinous. Streak is white or pale yellow and hardness is 3. Vanadinite usually occurs as small prismatic crystals that can be hollow but can also be fibrous, incrusting, compact or globular.
