Description
Six samples of pink euhedral rhombohedrons of Chabazite crystals with a vitreous lustre. Average crystal size: 0.8 cm x 0.8 cm x 0.8 cm.
Chabazite (CaAl2Si4O12 x 6H2O) can be white, yellow, pink or red in colour. Lustre is vitreous and streak is white. Hardness is 4 to 5. Cleavage is poor in three directions and is parallel to the rhombohedron faces. Chabazite usually occurs as rhombohedrons that resembles cubes but can also be compact in form.
