Description

Sample of orange Creedite that occurs as blade-like prismatic subhedral crystals with a vitreous lustre. Creedite (Ca3Al2SO4(F,OH)10 x 2H2O) can be colourless, white, violet or orange in colour. Lustre is vitreous and streak is white. Hardness is 3 1/2 to 4.
