Description
Sample of large granular mass of Graphite that is steel-grey in colour with a metallic lustre.
Graphite (Carbon) is a steel-grey to iron-black mineral with a metallic lustre. Streak is grey to black that is shiny and hardness is 1 to 2. Cleavage is perfect in one direction as thin flakes, flexible or sectile. Graphite is usually found as a foliated, scale, granular or earthy form.
