Description
Sample of small, numerous orange prismatic crystals of Vanadinite that have an adamantine lustre.
Vanadinite (Pb5(VO4)3Cl) can be ruby-red, orange, brown, yellow or multicoloured and has an adamantine or resinous lustre. Streak is white or pale yellow and hardness is 3. Vanadinite is usually found as small prismatic crystals that can be hollow but can also be fibrous, incrusting, compact or globular.
