Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Osteichthyes Subclass: Actinopterygii Order: Clupeiformes Family: Clupeidae Genus: Knightia (Jordon, 1907) Specimen of Knightia sp. in white limestone from the Green River Formation. Body is present for the specimen but head is missing. Dorsal, caudal and pectoral fin are preserved.
