Description

Two samples with rhombohedron pink/yellow Chabazite. Chabazite (CaAl2Si4O12 x 6H2O) can be white, yellow, pink or red. Lustre is vitreous and streak is white. Hardness is 4 to 5 and cleavage is poor in three directions that is parallel to the faces. Chabazite usually occurs as rhombohedrons with faces at nearly 90 degrees between each face, resembling cubes. Chazbite can also be compact and show penetration twins.
