Description

Sample of colourless, with tints of red, trapezohedrons crystals of Analcime. Analcime (NaAlSi2O6 x H2O) is a white, colourless, grey, greenish, yellowish or reddish mineral. Lustre is vitreous and streak is colourless. Hardness is 5 to 5 1/2. Analcime usually occurs a simple trapezohedrons but can also be granular or compact.
