Description

Small white trapezohedron crystals of Analcime with a vitreous lustre. Analcime (NaAlSi2O6 x H2O) can be white, colourless, grey and have reddish, greenish or yellowish tints. Lustre is vitreous and streak is colourless. Hardness is 5 to 5 1/2. Analcime usually occurs as simple trapezohedrons but can also be granular or compact.
