Sample with several cast along the surface of the sediment. Largest specimen with a pedicle valve that is convex, with thin prominent ribs and concentric lines near the anterior margin. Circular anterior margin and rounded triangular posterior margin. Atrypa reticularis specimen near the margin of the sediment and partially encrusted in sediment. Prominent ribs and slight flaring of the anterior margin.
