Description

Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Brachiopoda Class: Rhynchonellata Order: Rhynchonellida Family: Machaeraiidae Genus: Ferganella (Nikiforova, 1937) Fourteen specimens with both the brachial and pedicle valves preserved and one sample of shale with various casts embedded into the sediment. Large prominent ribs and faint sulcus visible on some specimens. Oval anterior margin and triangular posterior margin.
