Description

Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Brachiopoda Class: Strophomenata Order: Strophomenida Family: Rafinesquinidae Genus: Leptaena (Dalman, 1828) Four specimens labelled a to d, of what appears to be the brachial valve. Encrusted with sediment. Thin, radial ribs and prominent rugae. Rounded anterior margin and straight posterior margin.
